Volume Two

Gambling debuts, love, and uncertain futures. These are all in the records of Babylon. But why do this at all? What is the purpose? Clemences "Chun" tells Theo about why he does this. "It's all for the people and our history." However, what happens when a scholar becomes part of that history himself? What happens when he wants to save that object of affection from herself? Meanwhile, a couple tries to rise about the temptation around them in the city. A man tries to climb out of the debt trap he created for himself. Just another day in paradise.


Volume Three

Can a scribe be allowed to love and still be a scribe at the same time? Theo is asking the same question. A girl with a desire to die is making him revisit as own past demons. Who did Theo used to be? Before taking this job, he had no direction in life. Chun was the one who gave him reason and purpose. With this melachony girl in the picture, there might be a time to rethink how this path is turning out. All the while, the records of the city keep pouring in. One woman despises her sister-in-law who is the saint and purity of the world. Another one is sitting on a deadly secret.


Volume Four

Nothing really changes in Babylon, does it? The people will die, but the city will remain. That doesn't stop Theo from trying to learn more about his former mentor. Who was Chun? Why is there a job of scribe for the city anyway? What happens to the stories after they are told? The more Theo digs, the more questions he comes across. Still, he has a job to. A new arrival might make the pattern of things turn on its head. On the other side, a man is looking for his missing daughter. And what secrets in Chun hiding himself?


Volume Five

The truth about Chun is slowly coming to light. He doesn't have much time to live either. Illness is forcing him out of his line of work. Theo will have to be the one who takes over taking records of the city on his own. Who started the job of scribe for the city? Chun finally tells Theo the answers that he has been looking for. What will happen after Theo himself is gone? The scribes will die, but stories from the city will countiune. Even with a new scribe under Theo.
