Chun reveals to Theo that he is dying and that it is time for him to pass on the torch.

    Chapter eighteen: Forgotten Story
Chun passes away and Theo has to take over as scribe for the city. Everything is set, but there is one more thing that Theo has to deal with.

    Chapter nineteen: The Surety
Theo has to deal with this mysterious surety to pay off a settle that he didn't know that Chun owned. He finds himself in for a surprise.

    Chapter twenty: New Torch
Theo trains his new protogee for the job.
