Chapter
Twenty-Five: Floating Black Hole:
She couldn’t see
anything. Her spine felt frozen. So cold…
But somehow, she’s not alone. She tried to turn her head, but found that she
couldn’t move. Same with her limbs and the rest of her body. She could still
breathe and move her eyes again. But, she wasn’t alone.
What is this?
“You’re in my
belly.”
Huh?
“This will be
your grave.”
Lauren started
to scream when a high-pitch whistle filled her ears. She couldn’t cover her
ears. Something was whining up inside of her body. She could hear herself
gasping.
“Die.”
Lauren narrowed
her eyes. Shit! She means to kill me!
The painful ringing circled her head. She could see a pair of golden eyes
glaring down at her. A thin pink tongue licked a long pair of lips.
“Hm?”
Why are you doing this?
The lips
smirked. “Why? Oh, you should not exist. You could risk killing us all!”
Because I walk around in the sun? It’s not my fault! They did this to me. I used
to be normal. They kidnapped me and drugged me like this!
“I don’t care!
You are worth more death! This is the end for you! Say good night!” The lips
laughed as the pain spread through Lauren’s body. Her eyes widened, pupils
dilated.
“Is this really
how you are going to go out?”
Lauren tried to
lift her head to no avail.
Doyle?
“Come on, don’t
disappoint me like this. You would be so boring to me.”
“Heh? Who the
hell are you? How did you get in my maze? No one has ever broken in from the
outside before.”
“You’re messing
with my girl.”
“Your girl?”
Lauren narrowed
her eyes. Hey! I am nobody’s girl! I am
not anybody’s girl! Laughing ran through her ears.
“Then prove it.
Get out of this hole.”
But how?
“You can figure
it out. You’re not stupid!”
“Shut up!”
She could hear
thunder above her head. She winced at the vibrating sounds.
“Don’t mess with
me!”
Lauren gritted
her teeth. I had enough of this! She
closed her eyes and thought about lifting her right arm.
Come on… Come on…
“You can’t do
it. No one has been able to escape from my black hole. I will crush you!” The
pain increased throughout Lauren’s body. She began to laugh in her head.
My, do you ever shut up? I just found where you are.
“Huh?”
Lauren lifted
her hand and balled up her hand into a fist. She smirked when she heard a
choking noise. The vampire choked back her laughter.
“Got ya!” Lauren
said.
“Get off me!” a
voice choked up.
“Not a chance!”
the vampire woman said. She used her other hand to grab on. Lauren smirked as
she pulled herself upwards. She could feel a warm light against her eyelids.

When Lauren
opened her eyes, she could see all of the stars in the sky. She frowned as it
donned on her about her current condition. The vampire wrinkled her nose.
“Shit,” she
muttered. Lauren sat up when she heard someone laughing. A little girl dressed
in a black cloak floated in front of her. Or rather, it looked like a floating
pale faceless dummy hovering in the air.
“Good job,” she
said. “You managed to get out of my hole still alive. But you still need to feed
and you are still trapped in my maze. Now the question is, how are you going to
get out.” The pain started up in Lauren’s stomach again before she had a chance
to answer. The dummy shook as it “laughed”.
“You should’ve
drank from your little driver friend when you had the chance,” she said. Her
target laughed through her own pain.
“May god, don’t you ever shut up?” Lauren asked. “So annoying.” Another wave of pain ripped through her body. She grabbed her stomach and gritted her teeth.
