Cantro Twenty-Three: Lust and All Her Friends:

I made good on the promise to get my daughter some friends. It started when she was three. Bayu figured that it would be better to get her some little girls her age. It didn’t matter what species. Demons would do fine just as long as they didn’t try to attack my daughter. Turns out, I wouldn’t have to worry about that at all.

She never kept many friends long. Either she got bored with them or they would just disappear. We would never see them again. Lust never talked about them much either. Of course Bayu would have questions about this. I will get into that later. A few of her friends stick out to me. Only about two of them lived a long life. One of which Irani was to thank.

Kakeru was the first named friend that I can remember. She looked so small like a little living doll. I made her in fact. That’s right. I made a friend for Lust. Creation is much easier than you think. Especially if the creature looked human. Kakeru only had one purpose. Be a friend to my daughter. I remember the day I introduced her to Lust. My little girl was playing alone in her room. I knocked on the door.

“Sweetie,” I said. “I have a little present for you.” Lust looked up and noticed the little girl hiding behind me. Curious, she came around for a look. Kakeru stared back at her with big green eyes. Lust reached out and poked her in the cheek.

“This is your friend,” I told her. Lust looked up at me with big eyes. I smiled as I patted her on the head.

“Enjoy your new friend,” I said. The little princess hugged my legs. I couldn’t help but smile. Anything to make her happy.

Kakeru is one of the few friends that is still alive today. In fact, she lives with Lust in Ronahon to this day.

Jane was another friend I created. Kakeru was a success. I figured that I could make her another friend. Jane came along on the day that you humans would call Christmas. I was proud of how she looked too. Kakeru had red hair while Jane had blond hair. Both girls looked really cute though.

“I have another friend for you,” I told Lust. I released Jane from behind me.

“H-H-H-Hi…” she mumbled. My daughter perked up and hugged her wildly. I looked over and saw Bayu looking at me. Her look of approval threw me for a loop. She wasn’t too sure about Kakeru at first. I shrugged at her.

“I got her a friend like you wanted I told her,” I said.

“Yeah, but…” my wife said. I gave her a strange look. Bayu struggled to speak before closing her mouth. My love through up her hands.

“Okay, fine,” she said. “You can do as you please.”

“Thank you,” I said. I gave her a kiss on the lips. But turns out, she would be right to worry.

Six weeks later, Jane had disappeared. Bayu and I had our worries but Lust didn’t seemed to care. Kakeru didn’t say a word either.

Aoi came after Jane. It was more to see what happened to Jane and why. Was this just a one-off? What happened? Since neither girl was going to tell me. I had to find out for myself. Bayu wasn’t too crazy about the idea.

“She would be just a child,” she told me.

“A child that I created,” I pointed out. That didn’t go over so well with her. Still, I had to know. I gave Aoi to Lust as a present at the beginning of the new year. Lust and Kakeru were still playing together in her bedroom.

“Hey sweetie,” I said. “I got you another friend.” Aoi ran into the room with her arms out.

“Nice to meet you!” she said. “My name is Aoi! Let’s be friends!” Lust broke into a huge smile.

“Let’s play!” she said. My daughter dragged her over to the center where they were playing. I thought that it would just be a one-off.

But then Aoi was gone within three months.

Shion is the other friend that survive. By then, Kakeru faded into the background. I would say that Lust was about fifteen at this time. Bayu insisted that she still needed a friend her age. Of course, I had to try and make both girls happy in my family.

Enter Shion.

I made her just like the others. I gave Shion as a present on her birthday. Lust fell in love already.

“Thanks, daddy!” she said, throwing her arms around me. I couldn’t help but smile and put her on the head. Anything to make my baby happy.

Shion stayed boy her side for five years. Everything looked like it was going fine. I was surprised that Lust left Shion behind when she left Hell.

Cami was the last friend I made. This lasted about two years. I think she was eighteen when I made Cami. I didn’t know why I was still doing this. I guess it was to keep my promise to my then-wife. (By then, things were falling apart between each other.) The less said about Cami the better. All I can say is that she actually lasted longer than I expected.

There were others but I forget their names. They come and they go. They took so much out of me too. It’s a good thing that I don’t have to make any more friends for my children anymore. It takes so much out of me. I don’t know how my father does it.
