Chapter Seventy-Eight: Summer:

Yayoi and I spent summers together. It didn’t take us long to get close. She was the relationship that showed off to the kingdom. I think my subjects were happy to think that I wasn’t dating an angel. It worked in my favor.

Two years in and everything was going fine. The summer of 1961 was one of the best times that I spent with Yayoi. I was to meet up with her by the lake that day. I straightened up my tie in the mirror.

“You heading out, sir?” I heard. I turned towards the doorway. Judith stood, leaning on the frame.

“Why yes,” I said. “I’m going on a date.”

“With her?” she asked.

“Who else?” I asked. I turned and noticed the look on her face. Judith had that almost-permanent frown on her face.

“What?” I asked. She shrugged and shook her head.

“Nothing,” she said. I tilted my head.

“But?” I asked.

“I don’t see her as queen material,” Judith said without missing a beat. I gave her a strange look.

“Queen? I’m not looking for a wife,” I said. “We’re just dating.” She raised an eyebrow at me.

“Don’t look at me like that,” I said. I walked past her out into the hall. I wasn’t in the mood for another lecture from her.

-----------

I found Yayoi by the lakeside in a black bikini. Her black and white straw hat and black shades completed her Hollywood look. I blushed when I saw her. Yayoi looked up and saw me. She tilted her head.

“You’ve never seen a woman in a bathing suit before?” she asked.

“No… I mean, yeah,” I said. I walked up and kissed her on the lips. She giggled and kissed me back.

“How are you?” I asked.

“Bored, until you came,” she said. I couldn’t help but smile.

“I was bored too,” I said.

It doesn’t take much for me to be happy with Yayoi. I hadn’t planned on doing much that day. I wished that I didn’t have so many eyes on us all the time. So annoying.

“Darling,” Yayoi said as we laid on the shoreside.

“Hm?” I asked. She looked up at me.

“Kiss me,” she said. Yayoi climbed on top of me before I could respond. She leaned down and kissed me on the lips. I smiled into the kiss. I wrapped my arm around her lower waist. Her legs came on either side of me. When was the last time I got laid? I looked into her eyes.

“Are you sure you want to do it out here?” I asked. Yayoi looked me straight in the eye.

“Now what kind of a question is that?” she asked. I whistle to her. Such a bold girl. Ami was gentler than Yayoi. Sometimes, I have to be the one to take control.

“You want to get down and service me?” I asked. Yayoi had a hungry smirk on her face. She giggled as she unzipped my trousers and slid downwards. I closed my eyes and moaned.

“Oh…” I said. My mouth felt so wet. Her tongue teased along the skin. I buried my fingers in her hair.

“Mmm. You are so good,” I said. Yayoi looked up at me with a smile on her face. It didn’t take her long to get back to work. Was it even possible for a woman like her to even exist? Bayu came close, but Yayoi had her beat.

I wrapped my legs around her. But suddenly, she stopped. I opened my eyes and looked down, frowning.

“Why did you stop?” I asked. Yayoi giggled. She slipped from my grip and sat up. She reached behind her and untied her top. My woman had a serious look on her face.

“I want you to fuck me!” she said. She reached down and slid down my trousers. I couldn’t help but to smirk at her.

Were they spying on us? I don’t know. I didn’t know why Judith thought that Yayoi would make a wife. I had already done the marriage thing twice. I didn’t want to put myself through that a third time. You could say that I was looking for a good time. Managed to find that in two beautiful women. I didn’t care about the consequences. Maybe that’s why I ended up in the mess I was in years later. But for now, I didn’t focus on that. For now, I was basking in that first day of summer in 1961.

We went to sleep in each other’s arms by the lake.
