Butterfly End
Today’s the last day. Everything is packed up. Rooms are all clean. Everyone is
packed up. Rooms are all clean. Everyone had breakfast. Keys will be turned in
to the front desk.
Mari and Saito leave first. They will not divorce after all. They will save
their marriage. He kissed her on the cheek.
“Ready to go?” Saito whispered as he nuzzled her ear. Mari giggled.
“Yes, darling,” she said. Both held hands and left Hedone House to start again.
Duvid and his girl were next. She nuzzled his shoulder. He broke into a little
smile.
“I think my parents will like you,” Duvid said.
“I can’t wait to meet them,” his girl said. They smiled and walked away.
Riku and Hiroshi left next. He couldn’t stop smiling.
“You’ll come up to Tokyo to see me soon, right?” he asked. Riku gave him a quick
kiss.
“Of course, baby,” she said.
“Call me when you get home?”
“Yes.” The couple shared another kiss.
“I love you too Hiroshi-kun,” Riku said. They parted to their separate vehicles.
Noiz and Mosh were last to leave. The kitty turned to her husband.
“Ready to go?” she asked.
“Not really,” Mosh said. “You?”
“Nope,” she said.
“Same time next year?”
“You bet!”
After Noiz and Mosh left, Hedone House was empty for the season. The guests have gone, but they will be back next year. From Hedone House to you with love, have a good day.
