Chapter Twenty-Four: Graduation:

Noiz waited in the parking lot near her car. She looked at her cell phone closely. Seven o�clock now. The teacher looked out at the building. He�s running late. I hope he shows up. Noiz took another look out at the last of the students coming out. Mosh came up behind the students. The teacher smiled at him.

�You�re here,� she said. Mosh smiled back at her.

�Of course, I would,� he said. A moment of silence passed.

�You wanted to talk to me?�

Noiz nudged her head to the car. �Get in.� Mosh stare at her for a long moment. The teacher nudged her head at her vehicle again.

�Go on, get in!� she said.

Mosh nodded. �Right.� He climbed into the passenger seat. Noiz watched him as she came around to the driver�s side and climbed inside.

�Buckled up?� she asked. The mouse nodded. Noiz started up the car and they drove off. The car right was silent at first. Mosh bit his lip and took in a deep breath.

�I love you.� Nothing.

Mosh looked down at his feet. �Do you hate me or something?�

�No.�

�Then� why do you keep avoiding me?�

They came to a red light. Noiz kept her eyes on the road. �You want to know why?�

Mosh nodded. �Yes.�

�Fine. It�s because you broke the number one rule: Falling in love.�

�I�m sorry; I didn�t know that was a rule.�

�Never mind. You�ve already said it. Can�t take it back now.�

�I know and I don�t want to.�

The light changed green and Noiz drove on.

Mosh had to keep talking. �I love you and I just miss you.� Silence.

The student looked out the window. �Say something, Noiz-sama.�

�I don�t do relationships.�

�Why not? What are you so afraid of?� Silence.

The teacher turned right. �Did that and he broke my heart, just like I said.�

�So? I�m not him.�

�I don�t want to find out.�

�You can�t avoid me forever, you know?�

The cat sighed. �What do you want from me?�

�You. Only you.� Noiz didn�t speak.

Mosh just had to keep on talking. �Look, I don�t care about what our relationship turns out to be. I can�t help how I feel about you. You may not love me back like I want, but I just miss being with you. Can�t we at least just have the fun like when we first met?� Noiz stopped the car. Mosh looked around and saw that they had pulled up into her driveway.

�Why did we stop here?� Noiz kept her eyes on her house.

�Is that all?�

The student nodded. �Yeah. I just want to be with you, no matter what.� Silence. Only the crickets provided the sound for the brief moment.

The cat turned to him smiling. �Congratulations! You have graduated my class!�

Mosh looked at her, confused. �What? Why?�

Noiz smiled as she gently put her finger to his lips. �Don�t ask questions, remember? Just good along with me.� The mouse only nodded.

�Okay, I guess��

Noiz smiled at him wickedly. �Now come on in so we can celebrate your graduation.� The kitty climbed out of the car and walked up to her front door. Mosh couldn�t help but to smile as she moved her tail and butt.

�Okay then, Noiz-sama�� Then, he got out of the car to �celebrate� with his hot teacher.
