The Secret Life of a Goody Two-Shoes

Abby Daniel was a typical seven-year-old girl. What everyone sees is a good little girl. She always did what she was told. Abby never got into trouble. She did excellent in school and played the violin. Her parents showered her with love and affection. Every night was family night. Daddy read her bedtime stories. Mommy combed and brushed her head. Abby played with her stuffed animals and had good friends. She had no use for technology; books were enough for the little girl. Every parent in their neighborhood wished that their own child was as good as Abby.

What everyone doesn’t know is that Abby is really a witch. She was skilled with the craft. To be fair, the child, if you can call her that, practiced white magic. Abby never used her powers for evil or personal gain. Mostly, it was to help protect the town from evil forces. Her “parents” weren’t really her parents. They were fellow witches that lived with her. The “family” first moved into the neighborhood last year. Abby paid for the house herself. Her parents were witches of course. They had to take normal jobs to blend in with the town. It is unclear how old Abby really is. She might age herself up to throw off the scent. But for now, she lives her life like any other normal little girl and that’s the way she likes it.
