Found Little Boy

He had to be about six years old. His chubby little face was disarming. Masayuki narrowed his eyes.

“Max?” he asked. The child stared at him. The Japanese boy waved at him.

“Hello?” he asked. The kid still stared at him.

“Who are you?” he asked. Masayuki blinked at first. He didn’t recognize him? He didn’t have time to ponder this. The boy rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.

“I’m just a friend,” he said. “And I’m lost.” The child cocked his head to the side.

“You’re lost?” he asked. Masayuki slowly nodded. He knelt down to the boy.

“Can you help me out?” the older boy asked. Masayuki wasn’t sure what he was thinking. But hey, he needed a way out. He held out his hand. Little Max gave him a smile.

“Okay!” he said. The child grabbed the Japanese boy by the hand and led him along the blue chord.

-Max-

There is something that I have to show him. He already saw me at my school. He’s going to find out the truth real soon. I don’t want him to know. But he doesn’t belong here. I don’t belong here either. Not really anyway. He’s lost and I’m lost too.

There’s something about this guy. I feel like I’ve seen him from somewhere. But I don’t remember where. I looked over my shoulder.

“Hey, mister,” I said. He looked up at me. I’m about to ask when I heard someone calling me. I turned my head.

“Mama?” I asked.

“Max! Where are you?” she asked. It was then I realized where we end up. We stood on short green grass. We were in front of a big white house with a red door. A lady with short brown hair and jeans and a t-shirt stepped outside.

“Max? Where did you go? Max? Max?” she asked. She put her hands on her hips as she sighed. She sighed and blew up her bangs. I didn’t move at first.

“Who is she?” the big kid asked. I shook my head. That sigh said that she wasn’t happy. But what should I do? I should go to her, but this big kid needs me.

Suddenly, he let go of my hand. I turned around. He was smiling at me.

“Go on,” the big kid said. I stared up at him.

“But…” I said. The big boy shook his head. I turned back to the lady in front of the door.  By now, she was looking at me. I hold my breath and start walking toward her. But then I stopped. The big kid gave me a confused look. I ran up to him and touched him on the hand. I turned and ran towards the lady.

“I’m here, mama!” I shouted.

The back of Masayuki’s hand started to glow a bright blue.

“Huh?” he asked. Before he could really look at it, boy vanished into thin air.
