Chapter Three: Escalation:

Things keep getting worse. The women started to get violent. So many lovers ended up in the hospital. One man almost died. Nobody could figure out what was going on. The news tried to piece it together.

Still, the academy was slow on the uptake. That was until the school day was about over.

Noiz looked up when she heard screaming.

“What the hell?” she asked. The kitty headmistress walked to the door. She poked her head outside. Tony was running down the hall as fast as he could. Polly screamed as she ran after him. The gleam of the knife caught Noiz’s attention. Her jaw dropped.

“Help!” Tony shouted.

“Come back here, you bastard!” Polly screamed. Everyone was poking their heads out into the hallway. They didn’t know what was going on. Noiz jumped out into the hallway.

“Tony!” she shouted. “Come here!” Noiz stuck up her hand in the air. Tony looked up and pushed himself to run to her.

“Come back here!” Polly screamed. Tony came within Noiz’s reach. She grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him into her office. The door swung shut just in time for Polly to run up to the office. The Russian woman pounded on the door.

“Open up now!” she shouted. Noiz blocked off the door. Tony collapsed in the chair and panted. Katie stood off in the corner. The kitty headmistress put her hands on her hips.

“Okay, what’s going on here?” she asked. “Why is Polly chasing after you with a knife?” Tony looked up at her and shook his head.

“I don’t know, man,” he said. “She just went off on me.” Noiz raised her eyebrow.

“Well, you must have done something to piss her off,” she said. “Did you leave out your porn again?” He looked up at her and frowned. Noiz realized her mistake as she put up her hands.

“Oh, right, right. Sorry about that,” she said. The headmistress took a moment to think.

“Excuse me,” she said. Noiz pulled out her phone and dialed a number.

“Hello?” she asked. The conversation didn’t have to last long. She lowered her phone. Noiz turned to Katie and Tony.

“Well…” she said.

“What?” Tony asked. Noiz lifted her chin.

“There’s something going on,” she said. “Bemmer said that Daisuke came to him in tears.” Noiz turned to Katie.

“He couldn’t understand why you were yelling at him,” she said. Katie frowned and puffed up her cheeks.

“He was being stupid,” she said. Noiz started to wonder about her tone and statement. However, Polly pounding at the door interrupted her thoughts.

“Let me in right now!” she yelled. Oh yeah, there was still her. Plus, there was more shouting and running in the halls. Noiz, Tony, and Katie stayed there in the office. The kitty headmistress rubbed her forehead.

“What the hell is going on?” Noiz asked. Her phone rang in her hand.

“Hello?” she asked over the shouting. “What? I can’t hear you! Hang on!” Noiz moved further into a corner. She covered up her other ear.

“I’m still here,” she said. “What? What did you say?” The phone dropped to the floor.

Meanwhile, the mess kept unfolding. But it’s got to end somehow. The question was when and how.
