Chapter Thirteen: Snow Craze Planet:

The heavy snow made the campus look like a different planet. White as far as the eye could see. There were barely any people in sight. Just endless landscape of snow. It looked pretty if you were looking at it from the window. Outside, it was cruel and unforgiving.

When it snowed, everything changed. It always brought out the crazy in people. Hence why there were always these stupid little snow wars. Once the crazy got started, there was no way to stop it. The best thing you could do was to let it burn out. How long was it going to take this time?

It varied. Some of them didn’t keep track because they didn’t care.

Noiz looked out the window again. “It’s coming down harder.”

“What?” Mosh asked from behind her. Noiz turned back to him.

“Oh nothing,” she said. The kitty girl let go of the curtain and walked back to the bed. “I am all yours.” The mouse looked over at the window.

“It does look pretty,” he said. Noiz cuddled up to his side.

“Yeah.” She rested her head on his chest. “It feels like we’re on another planet.”

Her boyfriend looked down at her. “How do you mean?”

She shook her head. “I don’t know. It just feels like it.”

Mosh looked out the window himself. He started to see the point she was making. Outside did look like another planet. The mouse kissed Noiz atop her head.

“Would that make us aliens?” he asked. Noiz shrugged and shook her head.

“Don’t know.” She slowly drew her eyes closed and started to drift off to sleep. Mosh tried to shake her awake to no avail.

“Hey. Hey. Don’t go to sleep on me now! What kind of aliens would we be? Wake up. Wake up! Hey. Hey!” he whispered loudly. But it was no use. Noiz was already out like a light. The mouse boy sighed and shook his head. He was going to have to wait until his girlfriend woke up again. Mosh turned and looked out the window again.

It really did look like another planet outside.
