A big dreamer, Iris was born in Mexico City. After her parents split, her mom went back to America and Iris and her dad stayed in Mexico. She gave up in an old-style Mexican neighborhood despite her dad making good money. Since there weren't many kids around, the little girl spent most of her time with the old people, listening to stories and learning card games. At school, Iris spent most of her time in the library and computer lab. She didn't really much out of life. She was just happy to be in Mexico.
A descendant of Helen, Iris' mom ate a piece of the dead maiden's heart in a chili pepper while she was pregnant. Helen took care of the baby after her mom left. Pretty soon, Iris' father decided that she should get to know her mother more often. Against her will, she started visiting her mom in the states during half of her summers. In America, Iris felt rather out of place and wanted to go back home. However, while visiting her mom in the South, Iris discovered her love of poetry and wanted to do so much more with it.
Iris originally owned the Tokyo-Zion Academy, called Queen Megan at the time, but when she couldn't manage it anymore, Iris gave the site to Noizchild and they became friends. She ended up working as one of the original staff members at the academy. She doesn't mind it; gives her another place besides America to go for the summer. Iris has a dog named Maisy. She believes herself to be a Mexican instead of an American living in Mexico.
