Chapter One: People Always Talk in the South:

Everyone knows about the Bible Belt. They act all high and mighty. All of that shine and purity is enough to make a person’s eyes hurt. But, what kind of secrets are they really hiding? People from the outside make fun of them for that. To them, the Bible Belt is another planet.

That doesn’t stop the scandal from running amok.

People from the outside keep trying to look in and see the ugly crack in the pure ivory building. In small town, everyone knows who’s doing who. Gossip and rumors can haunt a person. If you stand out, you are automatically a target. Especially if you are from the North. Humble Southerners are not fans of fancy people of the North. But, that’s really because they have their own secrets they are ashamed of. They hide behind their Southern life and the cross. The people are scared in reality. What would happen to them if all of their secrets came out?

Darcy Roberts had to learn that the hard way.

Something about her didn’t make the Southerners not like her. Her situation moved her to Athens, Georgia. When she set foot on Southern soil, she would bring out many secrets to the light.

Just keep in mind, people will always talk in the South.
