Chapter Three:
Fairytale Twist:
We’ve all heard
of this one. It starts out all sweet and lovey-dovey. They hook-up and
everything looks great. But then the drama comes in. It just happens. But why?
What goes wrong? There are plenty of factors to think of.
First one is
age. Love can start out fresh and happy when the dating starts. But overtime, it
starts to get stale. You start to notice some little things that annoy you about
the other person. You still love them, but it all starts to build up. You will
drive each other crazy but you still love each other.
Don’t worry,
this is normal. You aren’t the Life Support branch. The Fairytale Twist comes in
many forms. The prince can be a jerk. The princess can be an independent woman.
The witch can be your true lover. Some with the “evil” king or queen. There is
no white horse and carriage here. Keeping a happy relationship is work. There is
no magic wand. You are on your own. That’s just how it is.
But, there is
some hope for you yet. Usually, you have it put together. You have rose-colored
glasses but you have a realistic view of your relationship. Because of this, you
might have a chance. (Sometimes, that will not be case. There will always be
something that will throw everything in a blender and screw it all up. But that
is for another time altogether.)
