Chapter Twelve: Panting Words:
In short, your teen years are unavoidable. You can hate on them all you want,
but you will get through this. How you do it will depend on you. You can take my
advice or don’t. You will learn one way or another. There are still some things
I will tell you anyway.
Don’t be afraid to reach out. If you have problems, speak up. Whether you
believe it or not, you are not alone. Sharing is more helpful than you think.
You let out what’s on your mind and you can move on. Maybe it’s not for you, but
it doesn’t hurt to try. Maybe it will. You won’t know until you try.
Take care of your health too. Now, now, don’t groan and roll your eyes at me.
Hear me out here. You want to outlive your enemies, don’t you? (I will talk
about them in a moment.) This is the way to do it. There are only two ways to
get revenge on your enemies and not regret it. Become more successful than them
and outlive them. In order to do the latter, you have to take better care of
yourself. You better start doing that now.
Now, about the bullies in your life. Yeah. You can’t always get away from them.
You have to go to school with them. Some of them will be at your job. Hell, some
of them will be in your neighborhood. What can you do? Avoid them to the best
that you can. Or you can stand up to them. If you do the latter, prepare a
defense that resonate with them. Be able to back it up. Don’t fight unless they
strike you first. Then it will be self-defense. When all else fails, chances are
you will be more successful than they are when you graduate high school and
college. Not always, but there is always something to strive for until we die
and live this dying planet.
Let’s see. What else is there? Ah, yes!
Enjoy yourself. You know? Being yourself. Taking care of you. Smiling when life
is crappy. I know it is the pits at times, but it will be worth.
Now that I have given you all that I have to say, go out there and live your
teen years to the best! (I know that what I said is cheesy, but that’s how it
is. I’m out now. Bye!)
