Isao is the charismatic lead singer of the famous J-rock band, Charm Inu. He has legions of lady fans. They want to have his baby. Isao doesn't notice; he's busy with his music. He once had a lover but they wanted different things so they broke up. Charm Inu was king of the J-rock world. That was until an all-female began competing with them. At the same time, Isao's mom remarried a wealthy business man. Isao and his new stepfather despise each other. To make matters worse, they both live in the same house! Have fun Isao!
Katsuya is Isao's second in command. He is a fox! Every girl and guy wants to get with him. Katsuya doesn't notice. He has eyes for Subaru. The two guitarists are secretly dating. They are hoping to get married.

Hideki has attracted plenty female admirers, including Lady Dragon drummer, Yoko. He attracted her so much that Yoko tries to seduce Hideki every chance she gets. Oh buddy!
Mai is the lovely fox of the sexy all-lady J-rock band, Lady Dragon. They are hailed by critics as the "female version of Charm Inu". Mai doesn't notice. She's got a lot on her mind. Such as battling Isao and her uncle. Mai and Isao became bitter rivals from the start. There is a twist. Their record labels merged together. So now, both bands must share the same studio and manager! Then is another twist: Mai may have feelings for Isao but doesn't want to admit it.
Subaru is the sweet guitarist in Mai's band. She is a shy little doll. Subaru has Katsuya and they are seeing each in secret.
Kasumi is the baby of Lady Dragon. Mai discovered her at a bass contest. She signed the girl on and the rest is history. Kasumi is a naive little girl in a band of real women. Honda sees this and tries to allure her all of the time! The young bassist finds the wild Charm Inu bassist very foxy.
Yoko is like a Japanese of Country Love! She loves to party! Jimi Hendrix is her idol. Yoko enjoys toying with the young Hideki of Charm Inu. In fact, she wants him as her boy toy!
Gary and Isao were once in love. But Gary wanted to start a family. Isao still wanted to chase his music career. So the couple broke up. Gary still wants Isao back. They still are good friends. Gary cheers up the rock star and is Charm Inu's number one fan.
Tomoe is Isao's mother. She was a widow at a young age. Due to that, her son has vowed to take good care of her. Tomoe lives in her son's house. Isao has it made for her. He gives her money for shopping, vacations, and essential needs. Isao even convinced Tomoe to quit her job after Charm Inu's first album went platinum. She is the inspiration in her son's music and life. Now with Raija as her new husband, life couldn't get any better. Tomoe just hopes Isao will learn to love his new step-father.
Raija is a rich businessman from India. He married Isao's mom in secret while she was on vacation. Isao didn't know until he came home one night and found them kissing in his living room. Since then, Isao and Raija have not gotten along. Raija is also Mai's uncle. He can't stand her either.
Shinta is a rock wannabe. He wanted to be famous, so he formed a J-rock band called Salt. There was just one small problem. Salt has no talent! So now what? Shinta decided to copy an artist. But who? Charm Inu of course! Thus starting the on-going saga.
Snow is the Canadian bassist of Salt. He can't play worth smack. People think he's weird. Snow and Shinta despise each other.
Kenta is Salt's only saving grace. In fact, he is the only attractive guy in the band. Kenta doesn't like his band. He is a true poet. Hideki is trying to persuade Kenta to go solo.
Shinzu is another wannabe rock star. He and his band do the job better. Salt and Devil Train are bitter rivals. They hate each other with a passion! Shinzu lusts after Mai and Yoko.
Misao is a musical pioneer. He has a lot of ideas. No better way than to play in a band! Misao has to try and keep the peace between Salt and Devil Train. He is calm and wise.
Blaine is a suave American who joined Devil Train. He is a complete rocker. Girls enjoy him. But only American ones. Japanese girls still love Isao, Katsuya, and all of Charm Inu. Blaine wants Charm Inu to step down from being kings of the J-rock world.
Ivy is the wise-cracking American music citric. She always sings praises about both Lady Dragon and Charm Inu. She even adds on to the stress the rivalry. Ivy is very controversial.
John is a young new DJ on Japanese radios. He is an American who had just moved to Japan. He is a fan of Charm Inu and Lady Dragon. The boy also adds onto the rivalry.
