Love Angels
Their love was out in the open. Maybe they could move forward? He certainly
thinks so.
The couple met at the hotel bar. Subaru wore a cute black dress. Katsuya stood
smiling.
“Good evening,” he said with a bow. Subaru giggled.
“Oh please! You’re too kind,” she said. She walked over and kissed him. The
couple took a seat.
“I missed you,” Katsuya said.
“You just saw me yesterday,” Subaru said.
“I know,” he said. “But still…” Subaru smiled.
“I understand,” she said. He held her hand. Plans for the future would have to
wait. Let them enjoy the moment now.
“What happens now?” Subaru asked. Katsuya looked up.
“Hm?” he asked. His girlfriend shrugged.
“I mean, it’s out in the open now,” she said. Katsuya nodded.
“Yeah,” he said. “We don’t have to hide anymore.”
“Uh-huh,” she said.
“Let me take you out to dinner,” Katsuya said. Subaru stared at him.
“Where?” she asked. Her boyfriend shrugged.
“I don’t know. Somewhere nice,” he said. “My treat.”
“Really now?” Subaru asked. She scooted in closer to him. His cheeks turned
pink.
“Oh…” he said. Subaru glanced up at him.
“Something wrong?” she asked. He shook his head.
“No, no, no!” Katsuya was quick to say. His girlfriend giggled. The bartender
rolled his eyes.
“Yes,” she said.
“Hm?” Katsuya asked. His girl looked him in the eye.
“Take me out to dinner,” she said. Katsuya smiled.
“Gladly,” he said. They shared a quick kiss. Katsuya already knew he would marry
her. Not yet though. Let them enjoy the moment together. Katsuya kissed her
again. Subaru happily kissed him back. The bartender shook his head.
“Get a room,” he said under his breath. The couple heard him but pretend not
hear him. He doesn’t matter. It’s all about them and their world.
Meanwhile, the matchmaker made it up to Sapporo.
