The storm became heavier in the middle of a meeting. Two heads of the hottest
labels sat down and talked. A fresh contract sat in front of them. The head of
Blue Moon Records signed his name. Then the head of Radios Gods signed his name
as well. It was done.
“I look forward to this merger,” Radio Gods’ head said.
“Same here,” Blue Moon’s head said. Both men bowed.

-Friday-
“This is a nightmare!” Kaz shouted. He stormed into the record exec’s office.
“Boss! You can’t be serious about this!” he cried. Both record execs looked up.
Kaz froze, blinking.
“Uh…” he said. Blue Moon exec raised an eyebrow.
“Is there a problem?” he asked. The manager stared for a moment.
“Um…” he said. “Is it true?” The record execs looked at each other.
“Yes,” the Radio Gods’ exec said. “We have merged.” Kaz tried to think about
what he wanted to say.
“Why?” he asked.
“Do you want to say it or should I?” the Blue Moon’s exec asked. The Radio Gods’
exec put down his hands.
“To keep up with the competition in the industry,” he said. “Our labels are
barely keeping above water. Same with theirs.”
“But… They’re Lady Dragon’s label, boss,” Kaz said. The Radio God’s exec
shrugged.
“I know,” he said. The manager’s jaw dropped. He grabbed his head and walked
around.
“Oh my god!” he wailed. The record exes looked at each other. Not what they
expected.

-10:00 a.m.-
Isao walked up to the studio when he saw the band at the glass doors. They stood
around, whispering to each other.
“Hey guys,” Isao said. “What’s going on? Why is everyone out here?” Katsuya
turned his head.
“Did you know about this?” he asked.
“Know about what?” the lead singer asked. He walked over to the doors for a
look. A confused look came over his face.
“A merger?” Isao asked. He turned to his band.
“When did this happen?” he asked.
“Apparently yesterday,” Hideki said.
“No wonder Kaz sounded upset over the phone,” Isao said to himself. The band
looked up when they heard footsteps behind them. Lady Dragon stood rather
confused.
“Is this it?” Mai asked.
“Uh… Who are you?” Isao asked. “Are you lost?” Tokuma’s eyes widened.
“Dude!” he shouted. “Don’t you know who that is?”
“No…” the lead singer said.
“Are you serious?” Mai asked, frowning. She held out her arms.
“We are Lady Dragon!” she shouted. Hideki, Katsuya, and Tokuma looked stunned.
But, Isao didn’t blink.
“So?” he asked. His band stared at him with big eyes. Mai gritted her teeth.
Kasumi put her hand on her shoulder. The female vocalist turned her head. The
bassist shook her head. Mai clicked her tongue. Isao had no emotion on his face.
It was only morning and he fired the first shot without his knowledge.
