Dateline: Jen and Sammi went to the house on Crow
avenue to find Marcus and his gang planning to frame Ash. But the girls
scared them away.
Angela walked up to the door
of the Ketchum house at six o’clock in the evening and rang the bell. Jen
answered the door. “Madre? What are you doing here?” she asked in mystification.
“I came to pick you up.” Angela answered. Jen was really confused. “You,
Sammi, and I are going to have some fun this evening.” her future mom answered.
Jen had that does dad know about this look on her face. “I talked to poppy
this morning.” Angela replied. “So that’s what they were talking about.”
Jen thought. “So are you ready to go?” Angela asked. Jen nodded. “Good,
now get Sammi and we’ll go.” her future mom answered. “All right.” said
Jen. Then she went into the house to get Sammi. Once she got her, the girls
walked out and left.

“So Madre, what are we doing tonight?”
Jen asked Angela. “Well, I was thinking that we could go to that new arcade
that just opened up this week.” Angie said. “Yeah!!!!!!” Sammi and Jen
yelled. “Okay then.” said Angela. Then the girls quickly made it to the
Super Sonic.

“All right, we all get 2,000 yen
a piece and we are to only use it for dinner and a few games. Got it?”
Angela explained as she handed Sammi and Jen the money. “Right!” the young
girls agreed. “Now go have fun.” Angie said. Then the three of them had
pizza for dinner and went their separate ways to the games. Jen went off
to play hoops in the courtyard, Sammi went to the vending machine, and
Angela talked with some of her friends.

“Hey Jen, I heard that there was
going to a duel in the stadium tonight.” One of the girls that she was
playing basketball with said to her. “Really.” said Jen. “Yep.” the girl
replied. Jen was getting interested. She knew that an immortal had to improve
their skills in order to grow stronger. “When is it?” she asked willingly.
“At eight o’clock.” the girl answered. “I’ll go ask my Madre.” Jen said.
Then she ran over to Angela. Jen came back with a huge grin upon her face.
“So you’re in?” the girl asked. “Hai!” Jen said. “Well let’s go!” the girl
said. Then the two girls went off to the stadium.

The gate at the stadium was packed
full when the girls got in. They had to push their way through. The people
waited for what felt like forever for the gates to open. When the gates
opened, the peopled rushed in as if they were being chased by a herd of
buffalo. Jen and her friend were running in front of the people. They were
the first people to take their seats. The people until the victor called
for quiet. “Welcome tonight! I’ll pick five brave challengers.” said he.
Lots of people raised their hands but the victor only picked four boys
and Jen. The immortal girl was jubilant and ran and to battle ground. The
battles were protracted and durable. The four boys lost to the victor.
When it came Jen’s turn, her battle was the longest and hardest of all.
A couple times, she didn’t think she’d make it. Finally near the end, Jen
unleash a great new attack called palm spikes and defeated the victor.
She won a trophy and free passes and meals to Super Sonic. When she came
out, Angela and Sammi were waiting for her and the three of them left.
Jen told them the whole story about her battle on the way home.
