    Born under a strict house rule, Sapphire wasn't allowed to do much of anything. So when she fell in love with plays, her father tried to stop her from loving drama. She even had to hide play scripts and books under her bed. Her father wanted her to be like the ideal lady in China. Her mother had no choice but to comply to her husband because he was the head of the house. Sapphire came to resent him for this. However as she become older, her father's heart softened. Soon, Sapphire could wear make-up, have her nails painted, read and write plays, and see and talk to boys.

    A descendant of Helen, the girl ate a piece of the late maiden's heart in a strawberry when she was nine. Helen's spirit aided Sapphire for 90 days. By the time she finished high school, she wanted to get out of China and start life on her own. Her father wasn't too keen on the idea. By this time however, her mother had gotten strong enough to object to her husband's old ideals. Days and nights of arguments later, Sapphire was free to be her own woman at last.

    One day while she was looking for colleges with foreign exchange programs, Sapphire came along Tokyo-Zion Academy. The whole thing caught her attention at first, but there was one catch: it was all the way in Japan. Due to Japan and China's rough history together, her father might not want to let her go. However, the offer just looked so tempting after Sarah recruited her over the internet. That was it; no more stalling. So, Sapphire found the right college that she needed and set off once she got in. Within six months, Sapphire transferred to Japan and came to Tokyo-Zion Academy. She's nice but don't insult her favorite countries. She will bite your head off! Sapphire lives with her mom, dad, grandma, and dog, Suki. She is loyal to her "sisters."
