Susan III
-Susan-
I don’t know
what’s wrong with me. He won’t leave my head. I don’t know where he came from.
But he won’t leave me alone. Omi and some of the girls are staring at me.
“Please…” Tears
ran down my cheeks. Omi held out his hand to me. I froze. He was saying
something. I couldn’t understand what he was saying. I shook my head.
No! Stay back!
Please! You don’t want this! Stay away!
“It’s okay.”
I shook my head.
I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. I thought I was going to choke. My
shoulders were aching.
One of the girls
was talking. I don’t know who she is. I can’t understand what she is saying.
Please! You don’t understand! Stay back!
“What happened
to you?”
I froze.
Their eyes were
on me. My stomach dropped. Oh no… Omi still came closer.
No! What is he
doing? His hand reached out to me. No! This is a trap. He’ll get him too. Omi
slowly got closer. His hand came within inches of me.
“Stop it!”
I about stumbled
backward. The sound of my voice stunned me. Now, Omi, Becky, Grace, Karen,
Phoenix, and Bunny were crowded around me.
“What’s wrong?
Are you okay?” Becky asked. I felt my face go pale.
“No…” I said in
a whisper.
“What’s wrong?”
Grace asked. But Phoenix knew. I could see it in her eyes. I lowered my head.
“It’s too late. He’s got you too,” I said. I could hear him laughing above my head. And then the room went black.
