Why were we in this wall?
I had never thought about it

"Why are you out there?" I
asked Steven
"I live here." he answered
"Why?" I asked
"Why are you in there?" Steven
asked again
"I don't know..." I replied weakly
Silence came to us
"Krissy!" a voice yelled
We both pause in fear
My daddy's coming
Panic rose in me
"Run away!" I said quickly
Steven nodded and fled
My daddy gave me a harsh lecture
about the outside world
Even though I've given daddy
another reason to keep filling
the holes,
I have to see Steven and the
outside again
