Dateline: The others have found Kristy and it
has been a wild first day of summer vacation.
"Wake up Hikari! Today is
your first day of your nature day camp." said Grace. "I'm coming!" said
Hikari as she climbed out of bed. "Boy! I wish I could come with you."
said Grace while Hikari bathed. "It should be real fun." the princess yanked
on as her friend got dressed. Grace talked and talked while Hikari got
ready to go to camp. "Bye-Bye!" yelled Grace as she watched Hikari board
the bus to the woods. "Grace, are you being annoying again?" asked Mitch.
"Nai! Well, sort of." said Grace. "I should teach you how to fly. Right
now!" he said. Then he took her by the hand and took her to the backyard.
"Sheesh! You'd think people would like it when you try to cheer them
up." thought Grace.

"All Right! Is everyone present?"
asked Wormer-san. "Hai Wormer-san!" said the students. Hikari took her
seat beside a handsome looking boy. She began to blush when she took one
glance at him. "Uh.... What is your name?" Hikari asked the young man.
"My name is Josh." said the young man. Hikari was blushing even more. Then
the bus started moving. Some of the students looked out the window at the
beauty of nature. "Today class we are going to Star-Face woods." said Wormer-san.
Hikari and Josh talked on and on about their lives. Finally the bus parked
near woods and the children quietly got off the bus. Hikari and Josh got
off the bus hand in hand. The students hiked deep into the woods quietly.

Meanwhile, deep into the heart
of Mt. Fuji, there was a secret laboratory doing research. Then suddenly,
one of the chemical tank carrying a very poisonous toxic called Mercury
two thousand started to shaking. One of the main leaders notice the chemical
tank shaking. "Uh.. Bob is that tank right there supposed to shake?" he
asked. "No it's not!" said Bob. Then the first main leader ran to tell
the chief about the tank. The Mercury two thousand was so strong that it
melt holes through the steel tank. By the time the chief scientist and
the two main leaders got there, the tank was melted away and Mercury two
thousand was flooding the laboratory. People were running and screaming
for help. Then finally, it all stopped, the people were all dead and the
Mercury two thousand was heading for the Star-Face woods!

"Here Hikari, I picked a flower
for you." said Josh as he handed her a bright red passion flower. "Thank
you, it's so beautiful." said Hikari as she took it and smelled it. "All
right class, we'll take break and...." said the teacher. Just then she
heard a loud rumbling noise. "What's that sound?" asked Wormer-san. All
of the students turned and saw a huge wave of chemical toxic. Wormer-san
ran away to the bus and the bus left the children. The Mercury two thousand
was burning the tress and the plants. The students were getting covered
with this chemical toxic. A huge wave was coming towards Hikari. "Hikari!
Look out!" yelled Josh. He tried to push her out of the way but the wave
got them both. An old lady heard the screams from inside her cabin and
got on the phone and call an ambulance.

Grace and the others were eating
lunch when
Megan turned on the T.V. to the news. "A special news bulletin
today": Big explosion in Star-Face woods earlier this morning." said the
T.V. news reporter. "Hey, isn't this that the place where the nature day
camp group was having their field trip?" said Grace. "Yes, Why do you ask
that?" said Mitch. "Because, Kari was in that group." she said. "Fifty
kids are trapped under the..... What's that? Three have been dug up? Okay
folks, Now forty-seven kids are trapped under chemical toxic. Now rescuers
are digging up these two children. We now see they have dug up a boy and
a girl." said the T.V. news reporter. The girl was Hikari and the boy was
Josh. "The children will be taken to the March of Pennies hospital for
medical attention. For more reports on this accident watch the news at
five, five thirty, and six o'clock. This is Tracy Sanders. Back to you
Alan." said the T.V. news reporter. Grace turned off the T.V. "Hikari!!!!!"
yelled Taichi. Then he got up out of his seat, got his shoes on, and then
ran to the March of Pennies hospital. The others ran to catch up with him.

"My name is Emma, tell me what
is your name and how may I help you?" asked the nurse at the front desk.
Joe fell in love with Emma right there. "I'm Taichi Yagami and I have came
to see my sister." said Taichi. While they were talking, someone caught
Grace's eye. It was a girl with white skin, long blond hair, and blue eyes
standing in the hallway entrance. The had on a dark blue dress, black tights,
black shoes with a gold buckle on them, and a matching dark blue hat with
a black ribbon. "Brandy, Look!" whispered Grace. Brandy signaled Nina,
Venus, Jessi, Jimmy, and Kristy to come over to she and Grace were. "What
is it?" whispered Kristy. "Look." said Grace as she pointed to the girl
in the hallway entrance. "She must be an immortal." whispered Jessi. "Let's
go over there and have a look." said Jimmy. Then the children quietly walked
over to the little girl. Just then Joe's sapphire started glowing. So he
took it out of his bag and looked at it. He was wondering why. "Is her
name Hikari Yagami?" asked Emma. "Hai." said Tai. "Then go to room number
two seventy-five." said the nurse. "All right. Thank you." said Tai. Then
he paid her the cost of the visit. Then he walked down the hall. "Grace,
Are you and your friends coming?" asked Taichi. "We'll be there in one
moment." said the little princess. "Joe! How about you?" asked Taichi.
"I'll be there in one moment." he said. So then Tai and the others (Except
for Joe, Takeru, Grace and the other immortal children that is.) went to
the back to see Hikari.

"So what is your name and are
you immortal?" Grace asked the little girl. "My name is Sabrina and yes
I am immortal." said the little girl. "So, what are your powers?" asked
Venus. "My powers are fresh water." Sabrina replied. "Oh Kristy! You have
two kids that are stronger than you!" said Jimmy. Kristy became scared
right there. "Drop dead Jimmy." said Jessi. Then she turned to Kristy.
"Don't worry Kris, Sabrina nor Nina doesn't want to fight you." she said.
Then she turned to Sabrina and Nina. "Isn't that right, girls" Jessi asked.
"That's right." they both said. Kristy felt better after that. "I was looking
for my parents. Because Boaz said they would be here." said Sabrina. Boaz
is Grace's Grandma. "You what, we were doing the same thing." said Jessi.
"Pssst." said Grace. "What is it?" asked Nina. "I know a little secret."
she said. "What?" said the other children. "I know where your parents are."
she said. "Where?" asked Sabrina. "Wait! Don't tell us until the other
children get here." said Jessi. "All right." said Grace. Then they all
went to the back to see Hikari.

"Now remember: Hikari is in bad
shape, so don't say anything at all to her about the way she looks. Got
it?" said Grace as she and the other children walked to room number two
seventy-five. "Yes ma'am." said the other children. Grace opened the door.
Hikari was conscious in bed and she looked like normal self except for
one thing: She was glowing pink. "Taiiiiii-chiiii." said Hikari. "Yes Hikari?"
said Taichi. "Whaaaattttt happeningggg tooooo mmmmeeeee?" she asked. "I
don't know." he said. Then Joe walked into the room. Tai ran over to him.
"Joe, Is Emma doing some research on this problem?" he asked him. "Emma
is doing some research on all of the kids." Joe said.

Meanwhile in the research lab,
Emma was doing some research on Hikari and the other children. She put
a blood sample that was taken from Kari's body while she was unconscious
under the computer microscope. Then Emma took a look for herself. She saw
immortal cells in the blood sample. She wasn't too sure about this discovery,
so she went to her computer to do some research on Kari. On Kari's file,
her species said human. "That can't be right." Emma said to herself. Then
she clicked on the information icon that would help her with the questions
she had. It took about twenty minutes to get the program up. "What has
caused this mishap?" Emma typed into the computer. "An explosion
of Mercury two thousand." was the computer's answer. "What is Mercury
two thousand?" Emma typed into the computer. "Mercury two thousand
is a very poisonous toxic it is illegal in fifteen countries." Emma
read to herself. "Which countries make Mercury two thousand illegal?"
she typed. "India, Egypt, USA, Russia, China, Mexico, Peru, France,
Spain, Germany, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Poland, and Japan." she read.
"Uh-Oh" Emma thought. "What are it's affects on human and nature?"
she typed. "It can destroy nature and it can give humans powers greater
than what meets the eye. It has no affect on immortal people." Emma
read. Then she printed out the information and left the research lab to
tell the children's parents the news.

When she told all of the parents
about what happened to their child, she did not get the respond she had
hoped for. Some of them didn't believe her, the mothers cried and the fathers
were afraid to get near their child. Taichi and the others with him were
the only ones who took it well. "I thank you all for taking this situation
very well." said Emma. "So, how do we get her back to normal?" Taichi asked.
"My crew is looking in on that right now." she said. "So what should we
do now?" asked Grace. "It would be best if she stayed here for a few days."
said Emma. "All right." said Taichi. Then he and the others left Hikari.

Well, for the next few days weird
things have been going on in the hospital. The children's newly given powers
were growing fast. Hikari was able to walk around the hospital. Hikari
was now able to interpret people's dreams. Today she walked down the hall
and went into an old lady's room. She knocked on the old woman's door.
"Come in my deary." said the old woman. "Hi Piper-san." said Hikari. "What
do you have for me today?" asked Piper-san. "Hold out your hand." said
the little girl. Piper-san obeyed. Hikari put her right index finger to
the palm of the old woman's hand and the tip over her finger glowed a bright
pink. Then a vision appeared in Hikari's mind.

Hikari saw a coffin made
from an old oak tree, five of the old woman's children, twenty-five of
the old woman's grandchildren, and three of the old woman's great grandchildren,
and her friends were crying and they were all walking to a cemetery where
Piper-san's husband was buried.

Hikari was crying after she
saw Piper-san's dream. "What's wrong deary?" she asked the little girl.
"I don't want to talk about it." said Hikari. "Come you have to tell me."
said Piper-san gently. "You're.... You're..... You're going to die within
three days." said Hikari. She cried even harder. "That's all right dear."
said Piper-san as she rubbed Hikari's back. Hikari was crying because she
didn't want to lose her friend forever. " *snif* Piper-san you're the greatest
friend I had ever had." said Hikari. Then she threw her arms around Piper-san's
neck and hugged her. "So are you deary, so are you." said Piper-san. That
was when Emma walked into the room. "Hikari, I think you should let Piper-san
rest for a little while." she said. She had to pry Kari off of Piper-san
to get her away. "Look, You can see Piper-san after dinner." said Emma.
"Just let her stay in here for a little longer." said Piper-san. "All right."
said Emma. Then she left Kari with Mrs. Piper.

The next morning, Hikari's power
was getting stronger. Then she heard a knock on her door. "Come in." she
said. The door opened slowly. It was Josh. Hikari had mixed emotions about
him now, for she knew he wasn't the same person he used to be. "Hikari,
I would like to talk to you." he said. "Yes?" she said sounding very scared.
"It looks like it's not going to work out between you and me." he said.
"I knew it." she said softly. "How did you know?" asked Josh. "I had a
dream about it last night." said Hikari. Josh just stood there silently.
"Now, Good-bye Josh. I'm going to visit Piper-san now." she said. Then
she got up out of bed and walked to her elder friend's room. "Whoa! I knew
I liked her for some reason." Josh thought. Then he walked back to his
room.

"Hello Piper-san." said Hikari
as she quietly opened the door. "Hello deary." she said. "I brought you
a game." said Hikari as she walked into the room. Piper-san cleaned off
her tray and set it up so she and Hikari could play chess on it. Hikari
put the board on the tray and on set the pieces on it. "Now, you'll be
white and I'll be black." she said. Then Emma came in and brought them
both their lunches. "Thank you." Hikari said softly. Then Hikari and Piper-san
ate their lunches together. By the time they had finished their thirty-eighth
game, it was getting dark. "Uh... Piper-san, I have to go to bed now, bye."
said Hikari. "Sayonara deary." said Piper-san. Then Hikari left the room.

The next morning Hikari knew it
was Piper-san's last day, so she went over to her room to pay Piper-san
her last visit. "Hello Piper-san." said Hikari as she quietly opened the
door. "Hello deary." she said. "Well...." said Hikari. "Well...." said
Mrs. Piper. "Well... Today is your last day." Hikari finally managed to
get out of her mouth. Then she started to cry. "Now deary, nobody ever
got anything by crying. We should be having fun." said Piper-san. " *snif*
You're right." said Hikari. "I brought you the chess game." Then they began
playing.

Meanwhile in the research lab,
Emma was doing some research on how to cure this toxic mishap. So she clicked
on the information icon that would help her with the questions she had.
It took about twenty minutes to get the program up. "How can we cure the
immortal diagnosis in these children?" Emma typed. "Use sterilized water
in shots." she read. After, she ordered all of her nurses and workers to
get plenty of water and sterilize it really good. And it was do so.

The next morning Emma was
standing in Hikari's room when the little girl woke up. "Hikari we have
to talk." said Emma. "I know Piper-san died." said Hikari. "Hikari, How
did you know?" asked Emma. "I had a nightmare about it." said Hikari. Then
she cried all morning about it. That afternoon, Hikari was able to stop
crying and she walked to a doctor's office. Emma gave her the shot of sterilized
water to cure her diagnosed powers. And then she went home.
