Chapter
six: Volleyball Tournament
“I couldn’t use a light in the maze, so I had to use a bright one.” said
Travis as he looked through his cube. “I am so smart!” Then he laughed
out loud and became serious again. “I’ve got to save them!” Then he got
back to work.

“Dad!” a girl called to Davis. He awoke and saw Beck sitting right next
to him in the third to top seat of the bleachers. “Huh? Oh Beck.” said
he. Then he looked around. “Where’s your mother?” he asked. “Down there.”
answered she. Davis looked down. Melody was sitting at the bottom of the
bleachers. “Okay, Where’s Sunshine?” he asked his older daughter. Beck
pointed out to the court. Sunshine was in a tight capsule. “Oh No! How
do we get her out?” asked Davis. “Shhh! The game’s starting!” exclaimed
Beck. “Konbawa folks! Welcome to our sixty-sixth annual volleyball torment!”
yelled the announcer. “Here comes our champion!” A monster with seven heads
and ten horns came out to the volleyball field. “And here comes the challenger.”
continued the announcer. Aneko stepped out onto the volleyball court. Davis
was shocked. “Whoever wins, will get Sunshine! Let then games begin!!!”
yelled the announcer. Aneko took a deep breath. A hot looking redhead came
out to the court with a big volleyball in her hands. “May the best one
win!” she said. Then the lady threw the ball into the air and Aneko hit
it. The monster was angry. The game was very close at her then our princess
began winning.

“As much as I want this game to continue, it needs to come to a close.”
said Travis. Then he got back to work quickly. “Come on girl use one of
your good old techniques!”

Getting tired of
the game, Aneko decided to use a special technique. So she meditated to increase
her strength. Once her strength was up, Aneko jumped and spiked ball. The game
was over. She had won. The crowd went wild. Angry for losing, the monster blew
up into pieces. The capsule that Sunshine was in vanished and she fell to the
ground. She was glad. Another one of her nightmares had been defeated. And then
everything went black…
