Dream Watcher

Dateline: Aneko defeated the demon girl.

“Night Mom!” yelled Aneko. “O-Yasumi-Nasai dear!” Megan called back. (Noiz Note: O-Yasumi-Nasai means “Good night” in Japanese.) “O-Yasumi-Nasai Mitch!” Aneko shouted to Mitch. “Night bratling!” he called out. “Hey!” yelled Aneko. “Hay is for horses!” yelled Mitch. “Mitch!!!!!” yelled Megan. “Good night sweet face.” he said to Aneko. Aneko blew her uncle a kiss and shut her door. In her room she cleaned her room a little bit, said her prayers, and went to bed.

While she was away in dreamland, the windows burst wide open and the door opened. Such a noise woke Snowy and Kittymon up. “Did you hear that?” Kittymon asked Snowy. Snowy gave off a little bark. The pets listened for a little while and heard the sound of footsteps coming into the room, the closing of a door, and the shuffle of footsteps getting closer to the bed. Snowy began to bark softly. The intender must have heard them, because he whispered: “Shhh! It’s okay!” to the little. As a result, the little dog stopped barking and went back to sleep. It was hard for intender to calm Kittymon down at first because she was ready to pounce onto him, but when he started to sing her a soft little lullaby, Kittymon went back to sleep. Then the intender knelt over to Aneko, kissed her on the cheek, and whispered:  “I bless you with sweet dreams to come to you, my love.” The stranger looked around, reached into his coat, pulled out a chocolate orange with a note on it, and placed it in her hand. Then he climbed out the window and closed it behind him.

The next morning, Aneko woke up and found the chocolate in her hand. She was wondering why she had it in the first place. Then she thought that her uncle had put it in her hand while she was asleep. “Mitch!!!” she called to her uncle. “Yes, niecey.” he said. “Did you get me a chocolate orange?” she asked as she showed him the candy fruit. “No.” he said. Aneko spent the whole day looking for the person who gave her the chocolate orange. She never did find the person.

That night was the same routine as any other night. But after the Aneko went to sleep, the intender stepped in. This he made his way through the window and quietly closed and locked it behind him. Again, he had to silence Snowy and Kittymon. And they went back to sleep just like last night. Then he knelt over to Aneko, kissed her on the cheek, and whispered: “I bless you with sweet dreams to come to you. I love you, and if you love and don’t know about me, I will keep coming back to see you. But if you wake up and see me, I will never come back to you. I will continue you to bless you with sweet dreams if you keep this promise: That you will never me at all. Is that clear?” “Yes.” Aneko murmured in her sleep. “Okay, that’s good then.” the intender said. Then he kissed her again on the cheek and went back out the window.

“Mom, I thought I heard someone talking to me last night.” said Aneko. “Don’t be silly dear, you must have been dreaming or you were hearing things.” said Marie. “Marie please, don’t you know the supernatural such as ghosts could have contract with anyone.” said Megan. “I’m sorry madam.” said the servant woman. Then the queen turned to her daughter. “What was it saying?” she asked Aneko. “I don’t remember much, but I think they were saying, they loved me. It sounded like a man and like I know him from someone. But I don’t know where.” the princess said. “I see.” said Megan sounding suspicious. Later in the afternoon, Megan did some research on this stranger. She had found no data on him so far. Even Aneko’s friends were trying to figure out was going on along with Megan.

Keep it on you at all times, my love.” Then he kissed her on the lips, opened her window, locked it, went out of it, and closed it behind him. Before he left, he blew a kiss to her window and ran away as fast as he could.

This phenomenon kept on until this night: The stranger came in like usual. (He had to come in through the window  because Mitch and her friends were guarding the door way.) He did his usual routine and just as he was getting ready to leave, Aneko woke up and saw him. When the intender realized had seen her and sighed and said: “My love, you broke your promise and now I’ll never see you again. Farewell my beautiful angel.” Then he flew back out the window. “Come back! Who are you? And what promise did I break?” Aneko cried out the window. His last words were: “We will meet again my love.” He was never seen again.
