Chapter Sixteen: Beach Party Invitation:

By ten in the morning, we received a knock on the door. I sat up in bed.

�Who is it?� I asked.

�It�s only me,� one of the boys from the boat said. I fully opened my eyes.

�Oh,� I said. �What is it?�

�We�re going to have a party on the beach tonight,� he said. �Want to come along?�

�That will depend.�

�What do you mean?�

�Well, can my friend come along?� I looked down at Sappoto-san still asleep. She looked so cute at that moment. If I was in my player days, I would so take advantage of her right now. Believe me, I would. It�s so tempting right now�

�Sure!� he said. I quickly looked up from my guttered mind.

�What?� I asked.

�She can come with you too,� he said. I looked lost for a long moment. It took a minute to grasp what he was saying.

�Oh,� I said. �Well then, okay.�

�Great! We�ll meet you at seven!�

�K!�

�I�ll going to the dining hall with my friends. Want to come?�

�Maybe later.�

�Alright, see you later.�

�Bye.�

�Buh-bye.�

I listened as footsteps disappeared down the hall. I couldn�t help but to smile to myself. Well, what do you know? We�re going to a party tonight. Right then, I felt something, or rather someone, moving around in the bed next to me. I looked to see Sappoto-san with her eyes wide open at me. I gave her a little smile.

�Morning,� she whispered.

�Good morning,� I said back. I leaned in close to her cute little face. �We�re going to a party tonight.� She sat up and gave me a strange look.

�What?� she asked. �Why?�

�Does there have to be a reason?�

�I guess��

I smiled at her again. �Just go with it.�

�You sure?�

�Yeah. Not like you�ll get arrested if you do.�

Sappoto-san sat up and looked at me with silent eyes. I patted her on the head. She looked up at my wrist.

�Now, get up and get dressed!� I said.

�What, why?� she asked. I leapt off of the bed and walked over to the closet. I kept my back to her the whole time.

�Cause,� I said. �We�ve got a party tonight!� I could just imagine the confused look on her cute little face. I�m going to have to work on her before this trip is over. I turned around to her and put my hands on her shoulders. She still looked pretty lost.

�Miho-chan?� she asked. I gave her a cat-like grin.

�Get up!� I said. �I�m going to work on you now!�

�Huh?�

I grinned and pulled her to her feet. I dragged her over to her closet. I whipped around to my confused friend.

�Pick a swimsuit!� I said. Sappoto-chan blinked at me.

�Really?� she asked.

�Yeah, go ahead,� I said. She bit her lower lip as she looked at me. Then, she turned back to the clothing selection. My confused friend reached out her hand for selection. Five swimsuits hung before her, waiting to be picked. She picked at first. Her puzzled face questioned how and when did I get these.

�Well�� she said. �This one?� I looked and saw her pointing to a navy and yellow one piece. I smiled and nodded at her choice.

�Hm, cute,� I said. She looked a little worried.

�Is it bad?� my friend asked. I shook my head at her.

�It�s up to you,� I replied. Sappoto-san stayed froze for a few more minutes before she took the swimsuit for herself. I smiled at her.

�That�s a good choice, girl,� I said. �Now let�s do something about your hair and make-up.� Sappoto-san blinked at me.

�What�s wrong with them?� she asked.

�Nothing,� I replied. �Just thought I would fix you right up.�

�Fix me right up? Why?� Sappoto-san asked. I gave her another fox smile and dragged her into our bathroom.

�Whoa!� Sappoto-san cried. �Slow down!� I didn�t listen and got right to work on her. Now, I might not know much about how to do girly things like hair and make-up, (That�s more of Andi�s expertise), but I did the basics to make my older friend look a little tasteful for a night out on the beach. I pulled back, pretty impressed with myself.

By seven o�clock, we were ready to hit the beach to our guy fans.
