The End, What Else is There to Say?:
So, now were reached the end of this tell. What else can I say to sum this up? I made it back home and school has started up for another year. I helped Sappoto-san find her family. Turns out they were all the way in south Kyoto. She turned to me once again.
Miho-chan, she said.
Yes? I asked.
Can you help me pick out a gift? my friend asked. I smiled at her. She needed me after all, huh?
Fine, fine, I said. Ill help you out. Her eyes grew big as she hugged me. I tried to push her off again.
Stop, I said. Sappoto-san drew back and looked away sheepishly. She opened her mouth to speak, but I stopped her.
Dont apologize, I said. She drew her mouth closed and nodded.
Yes, Miho-chan, she said. I patted her on the head.
I suppose that you want me to come with you as well, right? I asked. She looked at me with such joy in her eyes.
Oh thank you! she cried. The goofball hugged on me again.
Right, right I mumbled. Anything to keep her happy, I suppose. I took her to the toy shop and helped pick out gifts for her children. I turned to her, smirking.
Need some help with your husband? I asked. Sappoto-san shook her head at me, red-faced.
No, its okay! she said quickly. I only laughed aloud at her. She was just so fun to mess with. By the next morning, I took Sappoto-san to the train station. My friend had just enough money saved to pay for her own one-way ticket. She hugged me goodbye before she boarded the Shinkansen.
You sure youll be okay? I asked.
Yes, she said. Ill be fine, I promise. I held up my hand at her to cut in.
Alright, I said. But, just one little thing for me. Sappoto-san cocked her head at me.
What? she asked.
Give your kids a hug for me, will ya? I asked. Sappoto-san gave me a huge grin.
Okay! she said. I gave her one more big hug.
Now, get going, I said. Sappoto-san nodded and boarded the train. I waved her off as the train pulled away.
I let Andi-chan be angry at me for a little while before we kissed and made up. So, life has gone back to normal for us. Well, almost. Umiko has found a place of her own just ten minutes away from Tokyo and will be moving out of our apartment in three weeks. This is good and all, but its three months too long! I take living that long with her anymore! Maybe I can go hang out with Takeo and his pals for a little while until my sisters out of the apartment. Yeah, that sounds like a plan to me.
Have a Good Summer Everyone
