Chapter Thirteen: Get Enough:

10:00 a.m.

“What’s wrong, Asato-kun?” Anna asked.

Tsuzuki looked at her with sad puppy eyes. “I have work tomorrow.”

“You have a job?”

“Very funny.”

“Okay, okay.”

“But, it will suck.”

“You have to go to work, through.”

“I know. I just… It would rain forever.”

“No! That would be bad.”

“Why?”

“The world would wash away. The sun would never come out. We’d end up tick inside all day.”

“That wouldn’t be so bad. I’d be with you always.”

“But won’t you get sick of seeing me every day?”

“No! I never would.”

“But what about your job?”

“I’ll manage.”

“That’s not good enough. We need money to live. I don’t have clearance to work in Meifu again yet.”

“Does it matter?”

“Yes!”

“Okay, so we need money. But other than that, why can’t it rain forever for us?”

“We have to get out of bed some time.”

“Do we have to?”

“Yes. I miss spending the day out of bed.”

“I let you up sometimes.”

“But other than that. I want to be able to put clothes on again. I miss waiting for you to come home. I’m sorry, Asato-kun, but we have to go back to reality.”

“I guess you’re right. It’s nice to dream.”

“Yeah.”

“Hey, Anna-chan.”

“What?”

“Could we… you know?”

“What?”

“Do it. Again. As a goodbye to the rainy season.”

“Fine. How could I say no?”

“I love you.”

“I love you too, baby.” Anna climbed on top. Tsuzuki smirked like a hungry fox.
