Chapter Eleven: Yakuza:
There is a situation in Kabukicho.
A certain bride owes a particular Yakuza
fraction a little money. It started about four years ago. Once upon a time,
there was a young dancer in a club who needed some money to pay off a loan that
she needed for school. (Actually, she was failing and suggested to keep up a
good image for her parents.) She made some shady friends in the club where she
worked.
This first “friend” of hers was working
through the ranks in the yakuza at the time. He was pretty much an errand boy.
Still, he dreamed of being the boss. What better way than to start with a loan?
The future bride was pretty attractive even then. She was quick to pour out her
sob story to the errand boy one night at the bar at the club where she worked.
The first thing that he noticed was her breasts.
“Yes,” she said. “These are real.” The rent
boy gave her a funny look.
“What?” he asked.
“You were staring at my tits.”
“No!”
The dancer gave her a strange look. “You
weren’t staring at my tits?”
“Yeah! I mean no! I mean… They are really
nice.” His facial expression screamed, “Please don’t slap me!” Instead, she
giggled. The errand boy blinked.
“What?” he asked.
“This your first time in a strip club?”
He looked at her with big eyes. “How did you
know?”
“Let’s see… You are sweating, staring
intently at tits, and looking around like you want to run away. Are you gay?”
“No!”
“Heh, didn’t think so.” Over the course of a
few days, the dancer and the errand boy became friends. Or rather, she began to
see a great use in him. Maybe this could be the ticket that solves her problems?
One day, the dancer asked the rent boy for
some money.
“Why?” he asked. The dancer pressed her
fingertips together.
“I am in trouble,” she said.
“Trouble?”
She pressed her lips together, nodding. “I
mean serious trouble.”
“Well… What kind of trouble?”
She grabbed him by the shirt. “Please! I need
money for classes!”
At first, he gave her a strange look.
“Doesn’t the club give you enough money?”
“I need more money. Please help me?” Her big
doe eyes were enough to drag him in. He dropped his shoulders.
“Alright,” he said. She squealed as she
hugged him.
“You are a gem!” she said. He patted her on
the back.
“Yeah, yeah,” he said. For the next two
years, the dancer borrowed money from the rent boy. Initially, she had no plans
to pay him back. That all changed when the rent boy killed his boss and took
over the fraction.
Now, the boss wanted his money back and the bride was on the run. Let’s see where this lands.
