Sunshine Village

Dateline: Mitch and Cameron defeat an army of demons in China Town.

“Where are we now?” Cameron asked as she looked around. “I’m looking! I’m looking!” I said harshly as I looked on the computer. The info came up quick. “This is Sunshine village.” I said. “And a demon is attacking it.” The village was bright and perky. It wasn’t my style. And just like China Town, this place was empty. Then we heard rustling it the bushes. “What was that?” Cameron asked. “I don’t know.” I said. Then I started walking towards the bushes. Once I got there, I drew in a mouthful of air and pushed aside the branches. I saw a young girl with red wavy hair, blue eyes, and brown freckles.

The girl looked up at me with those big blue eyes and asked: “Are you the Fantasy realm warriors?” “Uhh….. Yes. And who are you?” I asked. “I’m Maggie!” she said as she jumped up out of the bushes. “I’m Mitch and this is Cameron.” I introduced Cameron and myself. My female friend jogged over to us and we helped Maggie out of the bushes.

Once we helped her out, Maggie began to tell us about how Nails, a strong demon, came and attacked her village, causing her people to flee for safety. “So you’re here all by yourself?” Cameron asked her. “Nope, a few more kids and some older kids are here with me ; we couldn’t escape from Nails.” Maggie replied. “I’ll take you to them, Come on!” Then we followed her into the village.

Maggie led us to what looked like an old wine cellar. Our guide pushed open the heavy wooden door and went in. Cameron looked at me in confusion. But I just shrugged and walked after Maggie. I looked back to see if Cameron was following us. She was trailing behind.

“Hey guys! I’ve brought Fantasy realm warriors!” Maggie yelled. All at once, children began to come out of their hiding places and ran over to us. They were hounding us with questions until we heard a loud stumping noise outside. The kids fell into fear. “It’s Nails!” a blue pig-tailed haired girl cried. Then the kids ran back to their hiding places. I was pissed out! This devil had caused this village enough trouble! So I drew out my razor gun and yelled: “Come on Cameron let’s go!” “What?!?” she yelled. “Let’s go!” I yelled again. Then I turned to Maggie. “Stay here.” I warned her. “Right.” said she as she nodded. Then she ran to her hiding place. And with that, Cameron and I headed out to Nails. (Or rather I dragged Cameron out to Nails.)

I looked and looked until I saw Nails with my own to two eyes. He was light blue with long black hair, long claws, and yellow eyes. “Hey Nails!” I yelled. He paused and turned. He was a demon all right! A very hideous demon! “I want to fight you!” I yelled. Cameron grew pale. Nails just laughed at me. But then he accepted my challenge. So we began our battle. Cameron stood on the sidelines in horror. I had the upper hand, or so I thought.

I had the advantage until I lost sight of him. “Huh? Where did he go?” I thought as I looked around. “Look out behind you, Mitchell!” Cameron cried out. “Huh?!?” I said. But it was too late, Nails popped up from the ground and grabbed my neck. His claws dug into the skin and it was painful. I was shrugged in mid-air. Nails pulled out his bloody sword. My eyes grew big. “Cameron help!!!” I cried. “How?!?” she yelled. “Use the weapons!” I screamed. “I don’t know how!” Cameron. “Just use one!” I yelled. “Which one?!?” she cried out to me. “Anyone! Just hurry!” I yelled. “Okay.” said she. Then she reached in her green pajama pockets and pulled out a flower disk. She drew in a deep breath and threw the disk. It beheaded Nails and he fell into dust. “I thought you didn’t know how to use the weapons!” I said sarcastically. “I just learned how!” she said sarcastically back. Then I off the ground and we headed back to the old wine cellar.

When we got back to wine cellar, the kids were grateful. They held a feast for us. When the feast was over, Cameron and I headed south again.
